The 19th Annual Summer Gymnastics Day Camp Program will be held at EXCEL
GYMNASTICS 2332 Rt. 9W

Mall.

Excel
Gymnastics training center is 8300 sq.ft. This facility is air conditioned
and fully equipped for safety. Our equipment is the best recreational and competitive apparatus available. We have a full size Speith Olympic spring
floor, uneven bars, single rail bars, pit bar, 6 high beams, 2 low beams, 2 beam training stations,
mini trampoline, inground trampoline, vaulting tables,
solid foam pits, inground loose foam filled pit, power rod floor, inground
resi pit, tumble track, over head spotting rigs, dance floor & scaled
down equipment designed with pre-schoolers in mind also rock wall
climbing. Boys equipment
includes high bar,
parrallel bars, pommel horse, rings, mushroom and more!

Director and teacher Rhonda Dixon-Ziros has had over twenty five years
experience as both a trainer of young athletes and as an accomplished
athlete in her own right. From 1978 to 1983 she was Kingston High School
Gymnast. While former director of The Marble town Youth Gymnastics Program
she began developing her training philosophy which blends structured
training programs with a concerned focus on the potentials and individual
talents so characteristic of young athletes. She has served as the
Assistant Coach of Kingston High Schools "Section 9 Champions"
Varsity Team from 1990 to 1991, and from 1992 to 1995 as Head Coach.
She is the former Director of The Ulster Community College Gymnastics
Program, and has lead the Excel Team from 1995 - 2007 to many State
Championships and is currently a member of The United States Gymnastics
Federation. Ms. Dixon-Ziros is certified in CPR and First Aid Safety by
New York State. And USA Gymnastics Safety certified and head coach of the
Excel Gymnastics Team. Our staff, in general, is comprised of highly
qualified teachers and spotters, each of whom has a concerned focus on the
students potentials and individual talents.

Any girl or boy who is 5 years of age or older. No previous experience is required.
(Mini campers ages 3 to 4 years of age).

Any child from (3 to 4 years of age) can choose 3 to
5 days of camp June 30th thru August 8th Monday - Friday 9:00 - 12:00pm. This
program is designed with
pre-schoolers in mind. It will include
gymnastics, music arts and crafts, and organized games. This is a fun,
comfortable, playful and instructional atmosphere where your child will learn
gymnastic skills and become more flexible through gymnastic games.

Our gymnastic program is designed for all levels of
experience from beginner to advanced including High School gymnastics and
competitive boys and girls gymnastics.

Competitive training for compulsory, optional and high
school gymnasts. Each event has been divided into skills progressing in
difficulty. The purpose is to insure that you are learning all necessary
skills and are ready to move to the next skill level safely and
successfully. The competitive athlete will be placed in a group which
stresses skills
that will challenge the gymnasts within the limits of
his/her individual abilities.

are welcome, this clinic will include cheer, dance, motion technique, jumps,

Achievement show on the last day of camp of each week, (Friday) as follows.
* Mini- campers fri 11:30am or TBA
* ½ day campers fri 11:30am
* Full day campers fri 1:30pm.
